Trading Standards has launched a BUY WITH CONFIDENCE approved trader scheme to support legitimate businesses and protect residents from rogue traders.

The scheme has over 200 businesses and traders on the list and is expected to increase very quickly to become a comprehensive directory of reliable trusty traders, all members are independently checked by staff from trading standards for compliance with the letter and the spirits of the law.

Trading standards puts consumers in touch with approved traders who have agreed to provide a trustworthy, high standard of customer service, the scheme helps to give customers peace of mind knowing they will be dealing with a reputable company.

Here is the logo to watch out for, members will carry this on their paperwork and vehicles.
