Hörmann manual canopy door, Dukinfield
What a lovely transformation this installation by our team made to this customers home. A manually operated Hörmann vertical ribbed garage door was chosen to replace the old door, which had become awkward to use or repair. This new door looks stunning with its surrounding white uPVC and spotlights above (click on pics to enlarge).
Our first task on a job like this is to remove the old door and any timber frame etc. Hörmann canopy doors come in their own steel frame, which means there are no big gaps like you can get with some older doors. The whole door and frame is one unit, which also adds a lot of security to these doors too. The brickwork is cleaned up of any old sealants and paint, then the new door can be fitted.
We fit all our doors with the same care and attention to detail. Garage doors need setting up so that they are nicely balanced, so that no parts are under strain. A periodic service (which we can provide) helps to keep the door finely tuned, lubricated and clean too.
As you can see on the finished photograph. We lined the returning brickwork with white uPVC boards. This helps to frame the door off in its surrounding and cover up any old damaged brickwork where the old door was fitted. The spotlights really add a nice touch to this job too and another customer of ours is very happy indeed.
Hörmann canopy/manual doors are available in a wide range of styles and colours. If you would like to see more about the product, you can view the brochure here.
