Hormann sectional door, Simmondley, Glossop.
Our team at Pennine recently installed this sleek looking automatic Hormann sectional garage door for a customer in Simmondley, Glossop.
As you can see from the before picture, it has made quite a transformation to the appearance of the house and the customer was pleased with their choice. The door has a white silkgrain finish which creates a nice modern look to the home.
The old door was removed and the brickwork opening was cleaned up, then we start to build the main frame and track system for the door. We take great care when fitting our doors, sectional doors require fitting and setting up to a high standard, so that they work both correctly and safely.
Once all of the framework is in place, we can then put the panels into place, then add the automation system. For this size of door, the Hormann Promatic operator is used, which is a highly reliable system. We also use uPVC trims and fascia on the face of the garage to frame the job off nicely with the brickwork, then the whole job is neatly sealed to the brickwork in an appropriate colour silicone.
