Teckentrup sectional door, Northwich, Cheshire
A recent installation by our team of a Teckentrup sectional garage door. For a lovely customer in Northwich, who chose the door in anthracite grey to match the front door of the house.
The job was installed over two days to ensure everything ran smoothly and wasn't rushed. Due to the nature of the installation, we fit this door to a sturdy timber subframe, which was built up after the removal of the old door and frame. The legs of the frame were sat off the ground by an inch, this is so that the legs won't soak up water from the floor and rot over time. The frame was then overclad in matching uPVC.
We always take your old door away from site, as well as other materials that are removed. Most of our waste is recycled. After removing the old door, we took the time to clean the brickwork of old sealants and filled holes left by wooded pads with mortar.
The new door can then be assembled in place, starting with the frame and track system, the remote control system and panels are then installed lastly. We also used matching uPVC to clad over the frame and sealed the job up.
Teckentrup sectional door are a very high quality product and have many benefits over a standard up-and-over door. They are thermally insulated, highly secure, there is no kickout of the door meaning you can park near to the door and simple to use with just the push of a button.
