Hörmann horizontal style door, Dukinfield

A recent installation of our team at Pennine Garage doors for a customer in our local area of Dukinfield, Tameside. This job was quite a transformation to this garage, as well as replacing the old door, we also gave the garage a nice clean, new look.

As you can see from the picture, the old door had become quite old and was damaged too. First of all we removed the old door and a timber leg that needed replacing. Due to it being a concrete panel garage, timber legs are needed to help fit the door to. We will always replace rotting timbers if possible and where needed to safely fit the door to.

Once we had a solid frame fixed, we could then lift the door into place and make sure it is a level and central as possible. While we are fitting the door, we are also then looking at installing the new uPVC surrounding the door. We always take care that our finishing touches are neat and as you can see, it has made a nice transformation to the front of this garage.

The new door is a Hörmann horizontal rib style. It is a manual (canopy) garage door that is very easy to operate. The door comes in its own steel frame and features a secure multi point locking system. The finish on the doors is very durable and high quality too. Hörmann are a leader in garage doors and this type of garage door is available in a wide range of colours and style to suit any home.
