Hörmann RollMatic T roller door, Dukinfield

We recently installed this Hörmann RollMatic T automatic roller door for a customer in Dukinfield. Chosen in a brown colour to match the features of the house. The RollMatic range of doors is also available in a wide range of colours, as well as wood grain finishes that will suit any home.

Each of this type of garage door is made to measure. This means we can install the door with as much width and height as required by the customer. We tend to find that width is sometimes an issue when fitting certain vehicles in a garage. Old door often have mechanisms that take up valuable width space. So the RollMatic T is great at giving you the side room you need due to the neat framing system. Opening vertically with no kick-out also means you can park a vehicle close to the door on the outside of the garage too.

As with every garage door we fit, the old garage door and any timber frames are removed from site and disposed of responsibly by ourselves. All of our automatic doors feature safety systems that do not allow the door to crush anything. They will simply stall and reverse if coming into contact with an object. We also provide periodic garage door service calls to maintain and test the door and safety systems etc.

This installation required an emergency release mechanism fitted. This is when there is no other access to the garage other than the garage door. Should a power failure occur, the customer can simply use a lock on the front of door to release a lock-barrel and gain access to a manual crank system that can be used to open and close the door manually. Once the power is back on, the door will continue to work as it did before.
