Hormann sectional automatic door, Glossop.
We recently installed this garage door for a customer in Glossop, who was in the process of renovating his house. This Hormann sectional door was chosen in a custom colour (with a silk grain finish) which matches the fascias and soffits on the house and will also be used on a new front door. It is a natural subtle colour that goes well with the nice stonework on the house.
There was no old door to remove, so we started by first assembling the frame components of the door, the frame is then clamped in place and carefully levelled and centralised. When we are happy everything is level and plump, we can then fix the frame to the stonework and start assembling and attaching the tracks of the door.
We are then left with a full framework, the door panels can then be lifted into place and rollers and hinges attached, the springs that balance the doors are the connected to the door.
The last item to install is usually the automation system. We use the Hormann Promatic and Supramatic operators depending on door size. We also finished the job off with white uPVC trims to give match window frames and how the new front door will also be finished off.
The customer will surely feel the benefits of a quality product like the Hormann sectional garage door. It is insulated, very secure and simple to use.
