AlluGuard roller door, Hollingworth, Tameside.
A recent installation by the Pennine Garage Doors team of an AlluGuard automatic roller door. The job was for a customer in Hollingworth, Tameside.
A lot of our customers are choosing to upgrade their old garage doors with these stylish and easy to use roller doors. Available in a wide range of colours and wood grain finishes, these doors are meant for your home and do not look like industrial roller doors.
We first stripped back all of the old door installation, removing the old door and timber framework, to leave a brickwork opening and steel lintel. Alluguard roller doors come in their own sturdy aluminium frames, which are fixed securely, then the roller curtain is added when the framework is in place and fixed.
We finished off the outside of the job in matching uPVC trims and capped the steel lintel off with white uPVC too. We then pointed in the gap above the fascia, where it meets the brickwork to give a nice neat finish (shown in close up pic). All of the finishes on these products are UV stable and will not discolour over time.
AlluGuard roller doors are insulated and seal to the floor, creating a great barrier if your garage leads into your house or there are rooms above.
They operate with the touch of a button and are easy to maintain and wipe clean. Doors come as standard with two remote controls as well as controls on the internal control box. Also featured is an integral alarm and safety system, should the door touch an object whilst in use.
