Hörmann vertical rib doors, Dukinfield, Tameside
A recent project by the Pennine Garage Doors team to renovate a pair of garages in our local area of Dukinfield, Tameside. The doors are made by Hörmann and were ordered in a vertical rib style, which is in our entry range of prices. Both doors are manually operated, although this type of door can be automated too.
The customer decided to have the face of the apex clad in matching white uPVC too, which was finished with edging trims and sealed up neatly. We have done many renovations on garages over the years and we are always happy to help with giving customers options in what we can do to help maintain the look and function of your garage. Often the old garage doors have become hard to use and can look a bit tired too. These garages have been given a nice facelift in terms of appearance and also in function.
Our manual (canopy) garage doors are always installed with care and attention, so that the spring system is nicely balanced etc. This means the door can open effortlessly and will do most of the lifting itself, unlike springs on old doors that become stretched and a strain to operate them. Hörmann canopy doors are also very secure and feature more locking points that most older doors. They are made from steel and come in many gorgeous styles and colours to suit any home. All of the materials that were removed from the old installation, such as the old doors and any timber etc are all removed from site and the whole job is always left nice and tidy for all of our customers.
