An interesting job for our team…

Here at Pennine Garage Doors we always try to help customers we can, from awkward repairs to very specific bespoke installations, we have over twenty years of experience installting doors and can provide our customers with advice, or solutions such as this job.

The customers garage door had broke and parts were no longer available. They weren’t interesting in having a new door because they only used the side door to the garage. They asked if we could provide a solution and we suggested this. To baton the opening out with timber, then using solid plyboard secured to it. Keeping in mind to keep the timber off the floor, so it wont soak up water.

We could then clad it with ribbed uPVC to mimic the look of a garage door. We even added a handle to complete the look! Hehe. All neatly sealed up to the garage and all at a fraction of the cost of a door. It also means that should a door be needed in the future, it can be taken down and replaced with a door, unlike building a stone type wall for example.

We hope you like this door that isn’t a door. It just shows what we can do for people looking for ideas.
