Hörmann automatic sectional door, Dukinfield
Recently installed for a customer in Dukinfield, a top of the range, fully automatic sectional door, chosen in a cream colour to contrast the rosewood uPVC on the house.
Sectional doors comprise of four horizontal panels that are hinged and go up and back into the garage on a track system. They are one of the best garage doors on the market due to their robust security and other features such as being insulated and fully automatic. This door replaced an old manual door and the customer can now enjoy not having to struggle manually opening the old door or fiddling with locks in the rain etc.
If you park your car in your garage, it is also a good security measure, as you do not need to get out of your car to open your door, it is so much safer and easier just pressing a button on one of the fobs provided and driving straight in. The door has many other neat features such as a safety system that will not allow the door to crush anything. If the door comes into contact with an obstacle, it will stop and reverse. The operator also has a handy internal light that will come on when the door is operated and stay on for a few minutes to give some light.
With the door operation going straight up and into the garage, this means there is no kick-out of the door. Meaning a vehicle can be parked close to it if needed. This installation was finished off with our usual care and attention to detail. Finished off neatly in matching uPVC that finishes the job off nicely. All old materials are removed from site and we take pride in leaving your home nice and tidy.
