Alluguard roller door, Charlesworth

Alluguard 77 roller door, Charlesworth

This is a lovely job installed by our team for an existing customer in Charlesworth, Derbyshire. Chosen in a custom colour to match the window frames on the farmhouse. The customer has a sectional door on one garage, we fitted a roller door on this other garage due to limitations inside the garage, a roller door was the ideal solution.

As you can see by the photographs, the old manual door had become awkward to use and this new fully automatic door was much appreciated by the customer. With the push of a button, the door can be operated with ease, no more struggling in the rain etc.

Alluguard roller doors are fully automatic and have a number of very good features that sets them apart from the cheaper roller doors that are around. We only install products that we trust and know are good quality for our customers. Alluguard doors are fully insulated, which is great if your garage leads into your house or if there are rooms above, we have good feedback from customers regarding this too.

Another good feature is that the door has an integral alarm if it is tampered with, this is a great first line of defence and is very loud if tripped. These alarms are reliable and will only go off when required. The door also has an interior control box that you can use to operate the door as well as the two remote controls that come as standard. The control box has a handy light that will also come on when the door is operated and stays on for a short time to illuminate the garage.

Other features include a manual winder for if there is a power loss to the door and a safety system that will stop and reverse should the door come in contact with an obstacle. After the installation of the door, we neatly lined the stonework off in matching upvc which we had sprayed professionally, this helped to cover up where the old timber frame was.
