Hörmann automatic sectional door, Dukinfield

Hörmann sectional garage door, Dukinfield

We recently installed this classic looking sectional type door in Dukinfield, Tameside. The door is in a rosewood finish and is fully automatic, insulated and looks stunning on the customers home.

Sectional garage doors are a popular type of door we fit and at the high end of the most secure types of garage door that you can add to your home. They are fully automatic and have many benefits. The door is made from steel and the panels are fully insulated with a high quality insulation foam, which helps to keep the warmth in your home if there are rooms adjoining or above the garage. There is a rubber seal on the bottom of the door that seals nicely to the floor. The security on Hörmann sectional doors is also very solid, giving you peace of mind.

The door is made up of four panels that are hinged, it has no kick-out, meaning you can park vehicles close to them. You can see in the brochure here how the door and track systems work. We use the Hörmann Promatic or Supramatic operating system depending on the size of door. These operators are built to last and with periodic maintenance, they will continue to operate your door for many years with no problem.

The old door it replaced was a manual up and over door. With this new automatic door, the customer no longer has to get out of a car to open the door, which is safer and dryer in wet weather. When we go back to service doors, we often get told how an automatic door has been one of the best additions to their house.

We always finish the installation with care and attention to detail. This door was finished off in uPVC trims and sealed in a suitable matching colour. We always leave your home very tidy too!
