Hörmann Rollmatic T, Glossop

Here is a recent installation by our team of a Hörmann Rollmatic T, fully automatic roller door for a customer in Glossop, Derbyshire. Chosen in black with a white frame to complement other features on the house.

The door we removed was an old up-and-over style manual door, so the customer was thrilled to not have to struggle opening and closing their garage door. Now they can just press a button on one of the remote controls that come with the door. Our customers who have made the choice of an automatic door over a manual one, often tell us that it is one of the best things they have bought.

We first removed the old door from it’s timber frame. The timber was still solid and structural. This allowed us to fit the door to this frame, which we then neatly clad in white uPVC to give it a nice clean look and also to protect the timber. We always take great care with our installations, from installing the door and making sure everything is level and central etc, to our finishing touches and always leaving our customers homes neat and tidy. We like you to see your new door and enjoy it without having to sweep up any mess etc. Nobody likes messy tradesmen.

Hörmann Rollmatic T doors are very secure and are well insulated, which makes a big difference if your garage leads into your house, or if you have rooms above. They come in a wide range of colours and the finish is very long lasting and UV stable. The door comes with two remotes as standard and features an internal control box with a light that will stay on for a few minutes after the door is used.

Hörmann is a world leader in garage doors and we install many of their products and have had a good relationship for many years.
