Hörmann Rollmatic T, Ashton Under Lyne, Tameside

We recently installed the fully automatic roller door for a customer in Ashton, Tameside. The door is made by Hörmann and it operates at the simple push of a button via the remote controls provided.

The customer is a wheelchair user, so this automatic door is an ideal solution for easy access to their home. We also installed the internal control box lower down than usual to allow easy use of the open and close buttons on the control box too. The door was chosen in a golden oak colour to match other features on the house.

You can see the old manual door in the photo, it has been removed and loaded on to our van. We always take away old materials from the job and leave your property nice and tidy. As well as being so easy to use, this roller door is also fully insulated and doesn't require gaps around it, like the old manual door did. This means the house also stays warmer in the winter. Our automatic doors all feature safety systems that will stop and reverse if they should come into contact with an obstacle whilst closing. They also feature a manual winding system for if there is a power cut and the door needs operating manually.

As you can see from the photographs. After installing the door, we neatly framed it in matching golden oak uPVC. This helps to give the door a neat boxed in look and also helps to hide the brickwork where the old door was. We always finish our jobs with care and attention to detail. Both the door and uPVC are UV stable and wont fade in the sun.

Roller doors are very popular with our customers. When we return to service doors, we are often told that they are very pleased with their choice. Automatic doors are beneficial in terms of security too. You can also park a vehicle closer too them, as their is no kick out, like with a manual up-and-over door.
