Hörmann Rollmatic T roller door, Chadderton
This job for a customer in Chadderton, Oldham was to replace two old automatic doors with a more modern system of automatic roller doors by Hörmann, who are a leading manufacturer of garage doors. The type of doors are known as the Hörmann Rollmatic T.
As you can see from the photographs, the old garage door operator systems took up quite a bit of room inside the garage. The new roller doors benefit from not having tracks or rails that come back into the garage, meaning they save lots of room. Roller doors also open vertically, so there is no problem parking close to them for instance.
Other benefits of roller doors is that they are fully insulated and require no gaps around them, unlike the previous doors. If your garage leads into your house or if you have rooms above the garage, you will certainly notice the difference in the winter. The doors have a sturdy rubber seal on the bottom of the curtain which seals to the floor and will not let weather or debris enter the garage. They are also very secure.
The customer was very happy that the installation have given the garage a nice new modern look, as well as being space saving and easy to operate. We finished both doors off by neatly boxing them in with matching uPVC to help create a nice framed look to the garages. All the materials we use are of a good standard and are UV stable etc. With some simple cleaning and periodic maintenance, these doors are capable of keeping their nice white appearance, without ageing much. We can supply an affordable annual service to our customers to help keep them looking and working nicely too.
As you can see from the "interior" photo above. Any electrical cables are installed neatly too, using trunking to keep and cables tidy and out of sight. Our trusted electrician that we use can always add plug sockets close to the garage door in advance of our installation of the doors if needed. Each door comes with two remote controls as standard and each has its own control box on the interior of the garage.
