AlluGuard roller door, Dukinfield, Tameside
This modern looking roller door was recently fitted for a customer in Dukinfield, Tameside. An AlluGuard automatic roller door in a rosewood finish was chosen to match features on the house. We think you'll agree, it suits this home nicely.
The old garage door we removed was a manual up-and-over type. It had become awkward to use, so a new garage door was decided on. In a situation like this, where the garage leads into the house via another internal door, the AlluGuard automatic roller door is a superb upgrade to the home and features many benefits over a normal garage door.
The door is fully automatic and operates at the touch of a button. Two keyfobs are provided, plus the door can be operated from a control box inside the garage. This control box also features an in-built alarm system that will only trigger if the door is tampered with.
Alluguard roller doors are also fully insulated and require no gaps around them like manual doors do. They seal to the floor and our customers tell us there is a noticeable difference when there are rooms above the garage.
We always remove the old door from site and any timber frames etc. This door was installed in its own aluminium frame and does not require painting in the future. A simple wipe down with a damp cloth or mild soapy water will keep these (UV stable) doors looking like new for years to come. The outside of the door was finished off by lining the brickwork with matching rosewood uPVC, this provided a neat finish, as well as covering up the brickwork edges that were stained by old paint and sealants.
