AlluGuard roller door. Denton, Tameside
A recent Pennine Garage Doors installation of an AlluGuard automatic roller door in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) with a white frame. Fitted for a customer in Denton, Tameside.
The old door had become awkward to use and a roller door was chosen to replace it. We find coloured doors suit white frames nicely, it gives a nice contrast. Roller doors have become a popular choice with our customers. They save space due to the way they are fitted, open vertically so there is no kick out and they are insulated, which is great if there are rooms above the garage for instance.
After removing the old one piece door and cleaning up brickwork etc, we could start to build up the new door in place. We are careful to use the most suitable and solid fixings for our doors. We also trimmed around the door neatly in white uPVC.
AlluGuard roller doors are very simple to use. They come with two remote controls as standard (more can be added), plus the system has an internal control box which you can also operate the door with (shown in photo). The box has a light that will stay on for a few minutes after the door is operated. The door also has an integral alarm that does not need setting, but will detect any forcing of the door, the alarm is reliable and will not be set off by wind etc.
