Hormann sectional door. Hadfield, Glossop.

This classic looking garage door was fitted recently for a customer in Hadfield, Glossop. The door is an automatic sectional door, made by Hormann. It was chosen in anthracite grey with a sandgrain finish, which has a very slight, fine texture to it.

The old door was a simple, manual up-and-over door, so this new remote control door means no more struggling with the door in bad weather etc. More importantly, the door is well insulated, which will keep the rooms above the garage warmer in the winter. Hormann sectional doors are also very secure for your peace of mind.

The door was fitted to use the Hormann "promatic" automation system, which is used to power smaller sized garage doors. It features clever safety systems such as "auto reverse" should the door comes into contact with an obstacle.

Another good feature of this type of door is that due to opening vertically, there is no kick out, meaning you can park a vehicle close to the door. We think this door looks great in the stonework opening alongside the front door.
