Hormann, Ilkley doors. Heaton Moor, Stockport

It’s always nice when neighbors get on well! We recently installed these Hormann garage doors after two customers in Heaton Moor both decided to replace their garage doors at the same time, with matching styles.

After our initial consultations and survey with the customers, the Horman Ilkley style door was chosen, which is a classic design featuring windows that let light into the garage and also add a nice feature.

We installed both doors on the same day and started by taking out the old doors, frames and surrounding cladding, which we always remove from site. After cleaning up the brickwork opening, we could then carefully install both doors, set up the spring tension and finish off the outside with matching uPVC trims around the frame. The whole job is then sealed up neatly around the edges with a suitable colour of sealant.
