Hormann garage door in a decograin finish

The project required us to fit a Hormann Decograin steel garage door to match a newly fitted front door. The colour is is known as golden oak, Decograin refers to the wood type colours that these doors are available in.

The door is manually operated and is referred to as a canopy door (up and over). Hormann manual doors operate with little effort and we set the spring tension on all doors to maximise efficiency. We also offer a no obligation service plan on all doors to help maintain correct spring tension, lubrication and other safety checks which keep your door healthy and protected by the manufacturers warranty.

As well as fitting the garage door, we replaced the old fascia board with a new flatboard fascia and finished the frame off with matching white trims. Not only does this match the style of the front door but it gives a nice contrast so that the golden oak colour does not dominate too much. We find this idea often works very well and has given this house an elegant modern look. The customer also chose to upgrade the standard black handle to a polished steel one, which matches the front door too.
