Sectional garage door in Denton, Manchester.
This neat looking Hormann sectional garage door belongs to one of the partners of Pennine Garage Doors. Phil has been busy spring cleaning and tidying his garage so it functions more as a room, it has been carpeted and the gardening equipment moved to a new outside storage space. As this garage is part of the house, an insulated garage door will also help to keep the room warm. Phil is really pleased with the results, we thought we'd share it with you.
The door finish and colour is known as Titan Metallic (CH703) and the frame is finished in white upvc to give a nice contrast. We think these doors look great in modern satin type finishes and there are plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. Phil also added three windows, which add a nice feature to the the door and help to let more light into the room. The window style is known as Type D.
The door is automated using the Hormann Supramatic remote system. Other extras include an internal push button for easy access when you don't have a remote at hand, plus an external keypad was added at the front of the house. This allows you to enter your garage simply by tapping your own four digit number into the keypad.
Sectional garage doors have many benefits which customers find useful. As well as being automated (manual is an option) and insulated, they also save space by opening vertically, meaning a car or van can be parked close to the door. Drive-through width is not an issue either. Unlike some door mechanism, there are no awkward width restrictions within the door frame when driving a car into the garage.
